Elena fell at the beach last night and the doctors think she broke her Radius (one of the bones in her forearm). They said it was a "buckle fracture" - where the bone sort-of gets mushed at the head near the growth plate. Little kiddos have such soft bones that they often don't break. However, when they do, they tend to bend or twist like a green twig.
Anyway, she's fine (now) and not in any pain (any longer). We saw 5 doctors and spent the majority of the last 24-hours in various hospitals. But it's all worth it now that little girlie's feeling better!
